BoatLog is built to be useful without knowing anything about you. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your outings, your boats and your moorings live on your device.
We collect no personal data. Nothing you record is sent to us, and we operate no servers holding your information. Your location is used on the device itself to draw your track and work out when you have returned, and it is not transmitted anywhere. To show weather and tides the app queries a public weather data service, sending only a coarse position for the area of water you are on, with no identifier, no device information and nothing that links the request to you. Sharing a sail plan or an outing card sends what you choose, to the person you choose, at the moment you choose, and never passes through us. Notifications are scheduled locally by iOS on your device.
Questions about privacy, or about anything else in BoatLog, are always welcome. Email info@netflowers.co.jp and someone will get back to you. To clear out everything the app has stored, just delete BoatLog from your device: it is all kept locally, so it goes with the app.
