This Privacy Policy explains how DewCast handles your information. Short version: DewCast does not collect any user information.

DewCast does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no account sign-in, and no network connection except to fetch a weather forecast from Open-Meteo (a free, no-login weather API). Your location is used only to request a forecast for your coordinates; it is not stored, logged, or sent to any other service. All data (logs, settings, calibration) stays on your phone and is never transmitted. You can disable location services in Settings, and the app will still work if you manually enter coordinates or use the last known forecast.
