How does DryTime estimate drying time?
It uses an evaporation model: from the temperature, humidity, wind and sunlight at your location, plus how much water and what got wet, it works out roughly how many minutes till it dries. The result is an estimate, not an exact figure.
Why does it ask for my location?
Only to fetch the current weather at your spot so the estimate reflects your real conditions. Your location is never stored or shared, and you can set every value by hand instead.
Is my data collected?
No. DryTime keeps everything on your device. It doesn't collect, upload or share any personal data.
Can I use it indoors or by a fan?
Yes. Switch to indoors or shade and adjust the wind for a fan — the estimate updates to match. Tap 'reset to live' to go back to the outdoor weather any time.
