FAQ
Does MorseLite require an internet connection?
No. MorseLite works completely offline. All features — typing, transmitting, SOS, Morse chart — are available without any internet connection. No account or sign-in is needed.
How do I activate the flashlight for signaling?
After typing a message, tap the Transmit button. The flashlight icon toggles the rear LED on or off during transmission. You can also enable screen flash, sound beeps, and vibration independently.
Does the SOS feature contact emergency services?
No. MorseLite is a signaling tool that transmits visual and audio Morse code signals. It does not connect to emergency services, cellular networks, or any communication infrastructure. In an actual emergency, call your local authorities first.
Can I loop a message continuously?
Yes. Enable the Loop toggle before transmitting and your message will repeat indefinitely until you tap Stop. This is useful for beacon-style signaling.
Is MorseLite accessible for people with photosensitive epilepsy?
The flashlight and screen flash modes produce strobe-like effects that may trigger seizures in photosensitive individuals. Please use the sound-only or vibration-only modes if you are concerned. Consult your doctor if you have any medical concerns.
