How do I measure a vertical surface?
Hold the back of your phone flat against the wall, post or frame. PlumbLine reads the tilt and shows the plumb line; when it's truly vertical the screen turns green.
How accurate is it?
PlumbLine uses your device's motion sensors and is a reliable planning aid for everyday DIY. For precision construction, use a calibrated tool. You can also zero it against a surface you trust.
What does the tolerance setting do?
It sets how close to perfect counts as 'straight'. Strict is for fine work, rough is for quick jobs. The green/amber/red verdict follows your choice.
Does it need internet?
No. PlumbLine works entirely offline and collects no data.
