FAQ
Where does the weather data come from?
Rain forecasts come from Apple Weather (WeatherKit), using your device's location. Forecast accuracy and coverage depend on your region.
Why don't I see the Live Activity on my Lock Screen?
Make sure Live Activities are enabled in Settings > SentakuGuard, and start a watch with the "Hung out!" button. The Dynamic Island is available on supported iPhone models.
Does the app work in the background?
Yes. While a watch is active, SentakuGuard updates the rain risk periodically and sends an alert when rain is approaching. Keeping notifications enabled is recommended.
Is my location sent anywhere?
Your location is used only on your device to fetch the weather for your area. It is never stored on our servers or shared with anyone.
