Leave the mooring and it starts recording

Save your mooring or pen and BoatLog starts logging once you are clear of it. Track, distance run, top speed, average speed and time underway. Come back in and the trip closes itself, so there is nothing to tap on the way out or the way home. Manual start and stop are always there if you would rather do it yourself.

The conditions you actually copped

Wind, air temperature, pressure, wave height and sea temperature are logged the whole time you are out. Check the forecast, the tides and sunrise and sunset before you head off, then look back at how the day turned. Why you called it early stops being a memory and becomes a record.

Fuel and engine hours show where the boat is at

Log a fill and BoatLog works out your consumption in litres and shows how it trends trip to trip. Engine hours build up as you run, so the oil change comes due on a number instead of a guess. Add your survey, insurance and radio licence dates and the app gives you a nudge as each one comes around.
