BoatLog: Voyage Logbook
Slip the lines and the logbook writes itself. BoatLog records your track from the moment you leave the berth until you tie up again, and keeps your fuel burn, engine hours and licence dates in one place.

Off the berth, and the log is running
Save your berth and BoatLog starts recording once you are clear of it. Track, distance run, top speed, average speed and time underway. When you get back alongside, the passage closes itself, so there is nothing to press on the way out or the way in. You can still start and stop by hand whenever you prefer.
The weather you actually got
Wind, air temperature, pressure, wave height and sea temperature are logged the whole time you are out. Check the forecast, the tides and sunrise and sunset before you slip, then look back at how it turned during the day. Why you turned back stops being a memory and becomes a record.
Fuel and engine hours show the state of the boat
Log a fill-up and BoatLog works out your consumption in litres and shows how it trends from passage to passage. Engine hours build up as you run, so an oil change comes due on a number rather than a hunch. Add your survey, insurance and radio licence dates and you get a reminder as each one approaches.
A fleet, kept properly apart
Motor boats, sailing yachts, kayaks and paddleboards each keep their own log, their own fuel figures and their own service dates. Change boats and nothing gets mixed together. Monthly and per-boat totals sit in charts whenever you fancy a look back.
Tell someone ashore when you are due back
Share a float plan with the family as you leave, with where you are headed and when you expect to be back alongside, and share your live position through Find My. If you sit in one spot far longer than planned, or the passage stops looking like the one you set out on, your phone flags it. It is a prompt to notice something, not a rescue service.
Yours, kept on your own phone
No account, no cloud, no sign-up. Every passage is kept on the phone in your pocket. BoatLog can also turn a track, its weather and your notes into a written account of the day, share a card of the run, export GPX for other software and produce a PDF logbook.
Just cast off—your voyage logs itself.
