Do I need a special striping kit or a roller mower?
No. A roller helps the stripes stand out more, but any mower bends the grass as it passes, and that bend is what you see. MowLine's guide works with a push mower or a ride-on either way.
Why do my real stripes look fainter than the preview?
Usually the grass is cut too short, or you're mowing the same direction every week. Raise the cut height a notch and change the direction each time — MowLine suggests a new one for you.
What kind of photo works best?
A shot taken from a bit of height, looking across the lawn rather than straight down, with the whole area in frame. Even lighting helps the pattern read clearly.
Are my lawn photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your iPhone. MowLine has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics.
Can I save designs for more than one lawn?
Yes. Keep a separate history for the front lawn, the backyard, or any other area, and MowLine remembers the last pattern and direction you used on each.
