Does the app know my legal axle limits?
No, and it never will. Axle limits come from your vehicle plate and from the road rules where you drive, and they differ from country to country. You enter them, and the app tells you whether the load fits.
Can I use this instead of a weighbridge?
No. This is a planning tool that estimates from the numbers you type in. Real axle weights also depend on the true weight of each item, how the load settles, the road surface and the state of the suspension. Use it to load thoughtfully and to know when a weighbridge trip is worth it — never as a substitute for the certificate one gives you.
How does it decide the split between axles?
By the balance of moments. An item sitting over the front axle is carried entirely by the front axle, one over the rear entirely by the rear, and anywhere between it divides in proportion to distance — the same lever arithmetic that decides a see-saw.
Does it work without a network connection?
Yes. The app works entirely offline. There is no account, no tracking and no network access at all.
