CargoShock is a motion recorder for vehicles and cargo. Strap your phone to your load and press start. The app watches for accelerations above your chosen threshold and captures each impact with a timestamp, GPS location, tilt angle, and a half-second waveform before and after the spike. When you arrive, you have a summary ready for your claim — impact count, max G-force, and exact times and places. CargoShock uses your phone's built-in accelerometer and GPS; it is not a certified measurement device. Readings are approximate and intended as documentation, not legal proof. Always double-check important claims with additional evidence.
None. All recordings, settings, and history stay on your phone. Location is used only during active recording to mark where each impact occurs; it is never stored, sent to a server, or used for analytics. You can disable location in Settings and use the app with manual coordinates.

CargoShock records the gap and shows it to you — you'll see when tracking paused, how long the pause lasted, and a guide to re-enable continuous recording (always-allow location). It never hides data loss.
No. Recording works completely offline. Your phone's motion and location sensors are all you need. Settings and past trips are stored on your phone and sync locally.
Yes. The app includes three factory presets (truck, courier, precision) tuned for common loads. You can also set a custom threshold in decimal values (e.g., 1.5G, 2.8G) and save it as your preferred setting.
